Acrylic Set

Acrylic nails are a type of artificial nail made from a mixture of liquid monomer and powder polymer. The mixture is applied to the natural nail and molded into the desired shape and length. The acrylic hardens in place to add strength, length, and thickness to the nail. Nail polish is then added on top to add color. An acrylic set should last 2-3 weeks before a fill BUT COMPLETELY DEPENDING ON WHAT YOU DO FOR A LIVING AND HOW WELL YOU TAKE CARE OF YOUR SET. 😘

Gel-X

Gel-X is a soft gel nail extension system that lengthens your nails while still feeling flexible and looking natural. Gel-X is made from a blend of acrylic monomers and oligomers, and is applied directly on top of your natural nail. Gel-X nails are less damaging to the natural nail than acrylics. The bulk of the product soaks off with acetone, making it gentler on your natural nails. Gel-X nails generally last between 3 - 4 weeks without chipping or raised edges.
